  Holy Ascension is an incredible place for anyone who is already Orthodox or who is interested in the Orthodox faith. I recently became Orthodox after attending Holy Ascension for nearly a year. The incomparable clergy and laity are tremendously welcoming and are glad to bring anyone considering Orthodoxy into their fold. The church is located conveniently between Jackson, Kalamazoo and Lansing, bringing together a lively group from a broad expanse of Southern Michigan. This nearly 100-year old church is truly timeless in its worship and faith.
